Starfish and Maxima Question

Are their any types of starfish that leave maxima's and crocea clams alone?

If so can you tell me what type they are?

Will a six line wrasse be okay with them

Thank You

Linkia, brittle, sand sifting. Stay away from the green brittle or serpant stars they are bad.

sixline wrasse's can nip at a clams mantle to make it retract and reveal critters underneath of it.

and if it were me i would leave the linkia ( don't survive long even in the best of conditions ) and sand sifting ( eats the micro-fauna in the sand bed ) stars out too, thought they are clam friendly.

HTH

So will sand sifting stars bother a crocea?

yeah sorry about that, it was supposed to say 'though they are clam friendly' not 'thought' :hmm3:

Thanks for clearing that up. I've been wanting to put a clam in my tank but was unsure about the compatibility with the sand star.
