Starfish inards

My star fish some how made it into the sump area of my tank, again. He must be climbing over the eggcrate that covers the overflow section. His disc is too big to go through it. Anyway last time he only got a small ring on his disc. This time he was not as lucky.

He has been moved out of the sump area back into the main tank. The leg near the damaged area is moving and he is cruising around. I am hoping he makes it. Anyway I have never seen the inside of a starfish before so I thought I would share.

it is not gore. gore only happens in movies. had it been a video then yes it could be called gore. In photos it is just called biological matter

I am curious to know what the green things are myself. Freaky critters.
