Starfish Spawning???

I just had an incredible sight that I have never seen before. All my Mini Brittle Starfish just came out and spawned in my tank. Every single one was out and puffing up and letting out whatever they let out! It was Amazing! I didn't get a video of it but got a few pics.

I've heard starfish do spawn on a lunar cycle, which would explain why all of them are doing it at once.
