does anyone have experience keeping non reef safe star fish and anemones togther? I have a tank set up and was thinking of adding an anemone but it has a red knob star.......any thoughts?

I'm not sure whether the star is reef safe or not makes a difference, but my answer is it depends on the nem. I have two brittle stars with my RBTA in a 180 and never had a problem, but I wouldn't trust a star in a tank with a carpet.

i had a blue linkia with a rbta a while ago and one morning i found the blue linkia dead right under the anemone and i tested my water and everything checked out good so I am guessing it was the anemone.
But aren't non reef safe stars more resistant to things such as stings by anemone?
(Im not sure where I heard that though)
