starphire clarity vs top down

I have a regular glass tank and the view through the glass is nowhere near as clear as top down with all flow off. For those of you with statphire tanks; please state your glass thickness, manufacturer, and if it is as clear as a top town flow off view of your corals.

I am trying to determine the layout of my next tank and appreciate your responses.

But trying to be a dick but your never going to get as clear as top down because your liking through glass. I can say that starphire Is much more clear than regular glass.

Acrylic is clearer than glass. Starphire (low iron) is clearer than regular glass. looking straight into the water is clearer than either.

top down will never look the same as looking into the front even if there isnt glass there, the corals look totally different from the top, they look way more colorful and vibrant.
