Starry and Tailspot Blenny

Can they go together in a 4 ft long 80 gallon tank? Had the starry for a while. Saw a Tailspot at the lfs that I like a lot. Didn't make any impulse purchases though.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

I have never had 2 blennies in the same tank...and had trouble keeping one in mine now (he/she carpet surfed). When I first posted on here you mentioned you had the same tank. Do you have a lid or anything retrofitted for the tank? Also, how is the tank going so far? I was thinking if I ever get one again, I need to create a lid for the tank, always loved the personalities of blennies. I would assume with enough rockwork, and if they arent too big you should have no issues. My concern would be one chasing the other to jump if there is no lid!

Thx Sk8r

No issues with carpet surfing. Buy a screen kit from BRS. I use eggcrate which isn't a fail safe for fish jumping. Maybe I'm just lucky from that standpoint.

I'd keep an eye on them. My starry is pretty mean and territorial, it took some reaquascaping to get him and my YWG copacetic. But my tanks smaller and the YWG and starry are similar shapes and sizes. It might help if the tailspot is bigger or smaller than the blenny. My YWG went for a few trips in the overflow before things settled down, I don't think egg crate would've stopped him.
