hey you're doing request? i have a few questions. great video btw Anthony and the waves are crazy. how do you get around the noise for overflow box? cheap dates you forgot free entertainment, bring them home to see the orange shoulder :D . your wife sound mads, and if the guy don't want to come in for work get rid of him

My over flow is in the middle so no noise. If you have a problem with wave box ask the master Jarhead.....

I can get a slice of pizza and 2 dozen roses at Costco for less than 20 bucks!:D

Bart, if you have center overflow box you should not have any problem. But if you do, raise your durso pipe up a bit to bring the water inside your overflow up higher then you should be fine.

Do you mind if i can swing by to check out your aquarium when i go to conference in New Orleans.

both rear internal overflow boxes are 8" from sides, i want a super mod wave mine too. what ancient chinese secrets are involved? raising the pipes would be a lot better i guess, i was going to to cut them :)

no but i can sure use some entertainment :D what day? i have to warn you my house is not what you think it is, don't believed all the pics you see

hey bart talk to Jarhead about the super mod wavebox. He is working on a wavebox that can give you a tsunami in your reef tank......:-)

great vid Anthony and same discussions my wife and I have. Everyone wants to get paid but no one wants to work.

That is one heck of a wave dude. Did Roger estimate the gph on that?

Jon, i can answer that question. It is 5283gph... :D. How do i know? Cuz i put that wavebox together for Anthony with the combo of 6201 and the wave controller.

hahaha damm Jarhead Jon was going to buy me sushi for the secret until you spill it all out on the public forum....You owe me sushi dude

I doubt that very much. Here's a quote from my discussion with Roger:

To calculate the flow you actually have to set it up first, calculate
the volume of the wave and then calculate the number of wave cycles in
an hour and by multiplying those two figures you get the gph. On a
typical 180 the flow is usually about 15,000 gph with one wavebox.

I have to guess on Anthony's tank you are at least doing 15,000 gph + whatever benefit you are getting from the upgrade.

well I am just real curious as I am at the beginning of the design phase for my next tank which will have built-in wave boxes. The more data I get the better my decisions will be. Maybe one of you can ask Roger to get clarification? With that kind of wicked wave, it could top 20,000 gph.

Oh, my new tank is much smaller than Jonathan. 480g 8x4x2 but i may do a little shorter and taller because of the space available for the tank. May be 7x4x30 525g
