I'm starting a new 155 I have about 80 pounds of lr and 60 of ls I have ordered rock from Marco rock 50 pounds I'm wondering if adding the rock will cause a cycle or if I can add a small piece like every week and a kid the problem I would just add it and let it cycle but I stumbled on a piece with 3 nice brain corals and I don't want to kill them if it cycles everything I've added has been from an established tank so I havnt seen any spikes will my tank cycle and will the uncured rock cause it to if I add it slowly?

Yea my problem is my dt is the only one without fish which makes it hard to do do you think it would be ok to take my clown put it in my dt then put the new uncured live rock into my qt tank for a month then move it into my dt without causing a spike because it should be cured? My display tank everything has come from an established tank so it shouldn't cycle right?

Yes, that's exactly what I'd do. Once you've cycled the "new" rock in the QT tank, the little bit of moving around your house won't kill off enough things to cause any ammonia release in the tank. The dieoff comes from the 24+ hours in shipping the rock deals with. Not the few minutes/couple hours of moving around your house.
