Started dosing acro power, algae bloom...but

I stated dosing acro power about a month ago, 5 ml per day via dosing pump at 5 am. My tank is a 150 tall with 30g sump. I run ULNS so my nitrate is detectable but never over 2ppm. Phos is typically between .02 and .08. I was warned that I'd probably get a small algae outbreak after I started dosing, but what I've got is a full blown explosion of GHA and it makes me wonder if its bryopsis? It looks like common GHA but nothing in my tank is touching it. I have almost no algae on my rocks so I'd assume my snails, hermits, tangs and urchin would go nuts on this stuff.

So I assumed this must be bryopsis because it's popping up everywhere. I've since dumped 1 gallon of tech m into the tank over a week ago I don't see any change. My mag is reading over 1600 via salifert. Snails aren't as active and my button polyps lost their frilly extensions which would seem par for the course of high tech m dose. I also picked up 2 lettuce slugs which are crawling all over the stuff but I can't tell if they're eating it.

Did a parameter check yesterday. Nitrate is at 2, phos shot up to .11, alk is higher at 9.8 I typically run close to 8.0

Any thoughts? If nothing is touching this stuff it almost has to be bryopsis right?

is it straight stalks or does it have a fern like stalk? bryopsis looks like fern leafs and is a little toughter (less fragile than hair algae)
