starting 300 cube build

the new 300 cube 48x48x30 will be arriving in a week. i would appreciate suggestions on lighting. i already ordered 2 400w mh with la mini reflectors, but now am wondering what would be best. i like the idea of mh with t5s but am still somewhat flexible. i will be posting pics as soon as the tank arrives and i figure out how to post pics here. thanks all for any suggestions

one of the LFS here has a rimless barebottom 400G and they use a LED set-up, i havent seen the brand name on it, and it could possibly be custom made, ive never asked.
the color looks very simular to a 20K MH, i just cant understand why they have it suspended about 24" above the water level.
the skimmer is a huge Octopus in a sump with LR & RR, it dumps into another sump with a DSB and cheato then flows into a mangrove tank with 8" mud and then flows into a seperate sump with more LR and RR and return pump. no carbon filter or floss, all natural.
its a cool set-up, all 4 of them have a waterfall that goes to the other, all 4 are located under the display in an Acrylic enclosure with locks on the door.

thanks for the reply. i want to avoid the leds, dont want to spend that much. this system will have about additional gallons in the sump, frag tank and refugium.
