I decided to go back into saltwater esspecially reef when i started reading the forums (RC, Nano-reef.com, nano-tank.com etc.) i did so much research and weighed out my options. i narrowed my search down to the Cadlights, Finnex, Bio-cube. I like the oceanic company and think that the bio-cubes are probably the best "closed top" tanks out there, but they look just like the same 'ol NC, aquapod style and i wanted something a bit more outstanding. i looked at the finnex tanks and they seem to take up a lot of space for their filters and the style looks like a regular fishtank with the cornered sides. then its the Cadlights, i love the way it looks and the detailing they put into the design. i read alot of good reviews about them on most forums i visited. After going back and forth with the tank i wanted, i finally chose the Cadlights because of the 144w lights, separate circuits for timers, reugium and those tanks look so BEAUTIFUL.

here's what i am getting:

22g T5H.O 144w 24w x 6 bulbs.
refugium system in blue, 325gph.
no glass canopy "open top"
Cherry Birchwood cabinet
360 degree oscillator
Pura pads
AquaC Remora skimmer (nano type)

i want to start off with:
20lbs live sand
20lbs of fiji rock (anyone know a good place to get good rock for a reasonable price, i dont mind spending but i just want the best rock)
pre-made seawater (4) 4.5gallon jugs

i wanted to add some starter fish, but wasnt sure which ones are good. i was thinking a sand sifting goby, clean-up crew, clowns.

i think this is about all i am getting right now as my initial start-up but do you guys think there is anything i left out? I am so excited and can't wait to get my tank on Wednesday.

does anyone else have a Cadlights tank? how did you guys do with this beauty?

still waiting for my set-up to come in from the mail. i took of work for Wed. to set-up this bad boy. i reserved the rocks already in the store and got some supplies.
