Im new here, Ive been a emeber for awhile but Im just statring to come back... Well I have been helped immensly by the seahorse.org people and Im starting a 2.5G dwarf sh tank. Right now its cycling. Are there any tips or pointers you have that would help me?
Thanks

I don't know what you have been told by the people on the other site but I would suggest starting out with a 5G rather than half that size.
In spite of popular belief, H zosterae enjoy and need space to move around freely the same as other species. They also breed frequently so your herd will grow in number if you will be keeping both sexes.

It will also be a little easier to keep the water perams stable, extremely important.

Everything you add to a tank, such as substrate, rock, etc will cut back on your actual water volume. Just something to keep in mind when setting up any tank.

HTH :)

they only take live food, so be prepared to have culture stations going constantly. that alone discouraged me from keeeping the dwarves.

Well I had the 2.5 and a 10 gallon, I decided to start w/ the 2.5 for feeding density and Ill definatley move to a 5 or even 10 once they start breeding. I figure I have enough time to keep up with the constant bbs hatching... I only have two fw tanks and this one at the moment...
Tom... youre a member there too right? I just recognise your picture...
