Hey guys, well I am a HUGE addict to fish. Now I have a 40g..getting a 30 built real soon, and today I'm looking at either a 5 or 10 gallon tank. I need extreme help with you guys on what one to get, and equipment. I never did something this small besides with FW, but I love how you can still have it look nice with that small tank. Now I'm going today to the store so I need as much help as quickly as possible. Either a 5g or 10g? filter?? aquaclear hang on? or overflow and refugium or even a sump? size heater? and what PH? Thanks guys!!

Depends what you want to invest in such a small tank. Sump with A REFUGIUM/SKIMMER IS THE BEST WAY TO GO, BUT YOU CAN ALSO just use an aquaclear hang on if you wish. For a heater you'll need about 3 watts per gallon, so 25-50 watt would be OK.

Ok well I'd like to have possibley fire fish? and a clown and coral. So what you think with that type info? I want this filter to be quiet also so that should help with what kind of filter to go with. If you think refugium/skimmer what size/kind pump and skimmer? But remeber I want something quiet. Thanks

you may need to move the clown to a different tank later on... maybe think about getting a 20 if that's going to be your livestock level... they're not that much larger and they give you more options...

Well I was going to do the 10g prob and if my livestock got to big I would either put it in the 30g I'll be getting or into my 40

Alright I need some help now cause got some christmas cash plus other amount I had also. Now I'm going to be picking up a 30g tomarrow and was hoping to pick up either the 10g or 20g also and whatever equipment with that. Please help!!

On my 10 gal i have a aquaclear 150 which i have turned into a fuge. This set up worked great for me, tank is up and uriing for 2 years now.
