starting a new tank !!!!

im now getting ready to start a fish only tank 130 gallon custom using living color artificial plug and play pieces. never had a fish only tank wondering what should i use for lighting?

Simple flourescent strip lights will work fine. If you want to ramp it up a notch you can go with VHO or pc. I use 4 x 65 w pc's on my 120 and it's nice. Really shows off the fish.

i just bought 2 96 watt pcs 1 10k and 1 atinic what do you think or should i just go with all 10k

We prefer the Actinic 03's with 10,000K split 50/50 when using Power Compacts. If you go straight 10,000K, it will look too "yellowish" IMO. What are you doing for fish?

yes a fish only tank so sould i just swap bulbs for 50/50s
