I purchased Dr. Bronx's tank and sump a few months ago, I am finally starting to setting it up. The tank is a 90 and I plan on running the plumbing into the basment into a sump. I am kind of lost on this subject I dont understand head loss so I dont know what pump to get. I know there is a calculator on the home page thats great but what does it mean? Im thinking of using a 2 inch sand bottom. any suguestions?

I have a 75 w 29 gal sump still need to drill and plumb but I used 1500 overflow w. a 950 return pump .

nice tank. good spot for it too! I never seen a canopy that covers the corners looks good.
