Thanks for the comments. The ceiling is 7.5, but the tank is 3ft deep and 2ft high. So I will be at 5ft total allowing 2.5ft of clearance above for lighting so I should be OK with that. And at 32" high, it should be viewable at both sitting and standing.
I will do some research on who is running what and kick around the G-4x. Just very happy with my G-3 performance so wanted to stick with what I know and like.
