Starting our 24g Nano again

First off for those who know us, greetings from Indiana. Sarah and I lost everything but 3 hermits in an ice storm this winter and are just now starting our tank back up again, looking for some recomendations for corals/fish/inverts that will go well in there. We are running power compacts so I know our coral selection is limited but was looking for some input from some of the best reefers I know (you guys :) ) right now we have a bi-color blenny and a small zoa rock in there along with the hermits. Would love some more of the evil mels zoas if they are still round, have no idea how to get them to Fort Wayne though lol.

Thanks,
Andy

OMG it is not the infamous AndynSarah!!! :D Glad you guys are still in the hobby... I have some EvilMels... You could drive down for our frag swap in a couple weeks... lol ;) I know they have made their way up to PA, not sure about IN...

Stick with zoas and softies under PCs... You can probably get aways with some LPS if you feed them...

Randy, I could ship them to Indiana for you if you like.
I have LOTS of experience shipping frags, esp zoas!

lol I've shipped a box or two as well... ;) The problem is, that shipping is 4x as much as the frag is... :eek1:

we wouyld love to drive down for the frag swap, but a couple pesky things like school and lack of money for a trip of that size lol. not to mention the money we would wanna spend on frags, :) how much would it cost to ship zoas up here, and how much are frags of zoas going for these days, we have been pricing on line but for the ones sarah wants we will be saving for a bit, some are upwards of 35 a polyp :( I have a couple pics of the tank right now looks really sad gotta try to remember how to post them again.

Shipping overnight through USPS Express usually runs $25-$30.
You gotta make sure they're overnight to you though.

Use an image hosting site like Photobucket or something... That is usually the easiest way to do it...

picture doesn't show it well but there is coraline growing on the branch piece on the right side and the blenny we have hides in the rock on the top left

what ideas would be good for fish in this tank? like I said before we have a bi-color blenny in there already, what would bea good combo with him? What else could I put in there, we are thinking about a clown and anemone pair as well, I dont wanna over load the tank but I want some thing to be moving around in there. Think we are going to be going mainly zoas and softies due to our current light situation, although a retro fit for T5's or better isn't out of the question down the road. Sorry to bug all you guys about this, just y'all are the best reefers i know, and that isn't just a compliment to get help it is the God honest truth.

Anemone's need better lighting than PC's...

I'm sure Melly will chime in with some stocking suggestions, but really you'll need to look for things that stay small... Firefish, gobies and whatnot will work out well for you...

had planned on keeping things smaller thanks for the heads up on the aneone's I wanna find another lime stripe goby he was the coolest little sidh and never got over about 3/4 inch long.
