Starting Seahorse tank

So I am going to start a seahorse tank and wondered a few things.

Can a SH tank have a sump? Does it matter?

Lighting is just for viewing pleasure correct?

I wanted to keep some soft corals in there with them can this be done?

Thank you,

Yes you can have a sump and it is preferred.
Lighting can be ambient lighting, low or medium to satisfy whatever else you might have in the tank as the seahorses don't need any more than enough to see by.
As for corals, see the TANKMATES GUIDE to see what would be suitable.
