Starting to like this tank

This tank was set up with extra stuff I had laying around as a very low maintenance "junk tank" for lack of a better word. Just Live Rock, two powerheads for circulation, a small prizm skimmer and PC's for lighting, all on a 30 gallon tank set up on an empty desk in the office. These were all frags at one time taken from my main tank at home. I'm actually starting to like this tank very much as the frags have grown out. I know there is nothing too difficult to maintain in it, but just wanted to share.

Like I said, for lack of a better word. I do love the low maintenance (as far as equipment goes). However, I never go more than two weeks without a 5 gallon water change, usually once a week.

Nicely done,
those caps are looking very healthy, well, the entire tank is looking really healthy.....
Awesome.....

Thanks, I may start experimenting with a few more sps species. Luckily, I have a tank at home where I can move things if they don't seem to be thriving.

I have a 2.5 gallon nano at work, I have been bringing in frags from my tank at home, I will post pics once I get the rockwork the way I want it.

Cool, Love to see pics. Yes, those are some really red shrooms that spread like wildfire. I have some purple rics on the bottom left side, but I'm not sure what variety (yuma's maybe?) the pic doesn't really do them justice. If anyone knows for sure let me know.

I have two 96 watt PC bulbs (one 50/50 and one actinic 420/460 nm) for a total of 192 watts. I thought this was going to be too blue at first, but the color is actually very nice (pretty close to 14k to the eye). I have one of my co-workers who is very handy with a camera taking some better pics (I'm terrible). When he's done I'll post those pics tomorrow. They will be much better clarity and truer color.
