Starting up a 720 Gallon and seeking suggestions in Miami!

Yes thankfully it's all clear. Letting dechlorinator and water sit until game ends then I'll drain again and refill again.

I can't tell in the picture but if that is the Jurassic Gel BRS sells it is great for rocks but probably not good for gluing corals. It takes a really long time to cure which you will find makes holding a coral in place until it sets not possible. For gluing rocks it is amazing. Used if all all of my rock scaping. Also permanently gluing corals to a rock may be a bad idea because if a coral doesn't like the spot you put it in it is going to be hard to move it to another location.

Going rustic in the sump. Trying to figure out the whole generator situation. Purchased the unit I showed earlier but I read that it will damage my equipment. Now I'm looking at a Honda unit with a inverter that will
Control only the tanks panel. Do you think two esperare generators would be needed in my situation?

I had wondered about those blocks of foam under your sump for the longest time... now I see you have placed a real bottom in there. :0) I assume you are planning to paint/seal that wood as well?

I have never seen a tank like the one you've got. The bracing around the bottom is very unique.

Miracles likes to brace the bottoms in their big tanks as well. Gives more surface to silicon to.

Just gonna seal it as I kind of like the rustic look inside. The doors are going on today along with the light rails. Pedro adds the bracing below and I'm not really sure why but I'll ask and give his answer on here. Guessing it's just extra support?

Is the silicon issue a good thing? Or is it something that can leak silicates to the aquarium? The extra support should help. He also double braces the top of the tank. 2 3/4 inch supports

It's to give them more surface area. Reduces stress on the joint. No worries with the silicon.
