Steal the thunder

I didn't just post on there to plug your reef, I actually set-up a NC-6 seahorse tank. You can see the pics in the thread I posted on there (although I never set-it up with seahorses because everyone reccomended that it was too small I did have some cool macros in there). It was a mess when I saw a post by some Sac. people looking for a store that carried PE mysis and I reccomended a store that I worked at.

First off, I have never worked for a LFS. :)
John gets free advertising in the form of customer referrals because he has supported this club and the hobby more than any other LFS, IMO. He has donated tons of frags and colonies to our raffles and gives honest and accurate advice to hobbyists. He's obviously good to his employees as well because they are proud of where they work.

Hey now....don't eveybody get all serious like we usually do. I finally got to meet Jordan a few weeks ago, and I personally love his enthusiasm and his dedication.......just giving him a hard time.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JORDAN, YOUR A CREDIT TO THE HOBBY!!
 
Our young Jordan was just sharing his personal opinion on the store that he works at. Most of us here share that opinion. In the thread referenced, he was attacked for being dishonest. Bringing it here just seemed to be continuing that, which was just not comical.

I don't see why people have an issue about someone who always refers the company they work for or for that matter the store they Like....

I work for apple, I love them, I refer there computers and people here have seen me do it. There are a few reason, #1 I like the brand and produc, #2 Its a great product, #3 the more we sale the more perks we get. Same thing applies to jordan. More business for the store he works at, could mean more money or product for the store and him.

BUT

I know jordan and he knows a good store and if i remember right, he was referring yourreef before he worked there.

Even better well said.... I got some green button polyps from him(which i need pics of, They are recovered) he was very smart and mature for his age.

I know I wasnt at his age... LOL:lol:
 
He was attacked (on the other forum) for the exact same thing that others are attacked for on the MARS forum.

That is a double standard, regardless of how you explain it -- but I encourage you to keep trying (to justify that).

I'm switching to the NVR forums, much more diverse group of people (and local)!

This forum has turned into craigslist.

I'm neither, but I just found out about NVR.

I'm just speaking from observation -- doesn't make a bit of difference to you though -- you see it your way and thats the only way you ever will.

Funny I didn't realize you knew me as well. I just find it funny that someone who is not even a club member comes in here and verbaly attacks the members then tries to blame everyone else. Classy

That gets my vote for being well said! This thread seemed like a poor excuse to start flinging poop. Then give comments from the peanut gallery and call it craigslist?Maybe true, but lets go through and count all the For Sale signs then lets count actual MARS members who are posting them.

Threads started like this, you think NVR's gonna take lightly too? Then prepare to get flamed, locally! :p
