Stenner 45M5 2.5 GPD to 50 GPD (at 25PSI!) Peristaltic Pump Like New & Bullet Proof

Up for sale is a barely used like new Stenner 45M5 Peristaltic pump with a brand new tubing kit. If you know anything about these pumps, you know these are about the best pump you can get for things like ATO's, automatic water changes etc. This pump is a single head pump but can be upgraded to a dual head. If you are looking for a bullet proof ATO pump for your top off or Kalk or need to move fluids over long distances or from a basement to a display up stairs, this is a pump that can't be beat. They can also be used for a calcium reactor but it's not really ideal for that.

This is the same model pump I now use for my ATO. If you know me or have seen my build thread than you know I don't cut corners with my tank. I use the absolute best equipment I can buy and this pump is no exception. I use to use a smaller aquarium dosing pump for my ATO but switched to this because it's bullet proof and the tubing rarely ever needs to be changed and never needs to be lubricated. I bought a couple of these pumps and am selling this as I don't need a spare.

These pumps typically cost about $300. I am selling this one for $185 including free FedEx ground shipping which is a GREAT deal for this pump. I am including a brand new peristaltic tubing kit with the pump along with new ferrels and the manual. PM me if you are interested.

More about this pump.

These pumps are used commercially for chemical and fluid transfer applications, dosing additives to pools among other things. This isn't a hokey dosing pump like those sold at the aquarium suppliers but instead a beefy peristaltic pump that is built to last. These pumps have a relatively big motor that is fan cooled and can be adjusted from 2.5 gallons a day to 50 gallons a day with the turn of a dial. It generates 25psi of pressure and can pump or draw water from around the block.

This pump accepts standard 1/4" OD tubing in and out. I use the semi rigid stuff that is commonly used with RODI systems and readily available at places like Lowes and Home Depot. It includes a wall mount bracket for easy mounting.

The specs on the pump are as follows:

Man Scott, you have some high end equipment. I Must check out your tank one day

I've been doing this reef stuff for a very long time. One thing I learned over the years after pouring good money after bad is to do it right the first time or at least to do it right the second time. These days I never have equipment failures although you would never know it by the amount of spare equipment I have ready to go. My spare inventory is pretty insane. Spare Reeflo pumps, spare Tunze's, spare Apex etc. I have spares for every critical piece of equipment I have on my tank. Fortunately those spares never get used because I've weeded out any questionable quality components over the years and replaced them with stuff that doesn't break or die. It's literally been several years since I had a critcal piece of equipment fail. Knock on wood!

Come on down anytime you want!!

I use the dual head model for my automatic water changes. It is bulletproof!
GLWS

Very cool.. That reminds me.

This pump is designed to be easily upgraded to the dual head adjustable flow version which makes it perfect for automatic water change applications of up to 50 gallons per day. It just needs the dual head shaft and the adapter head. A total of about $100 in parts for the upgrade. The conversion takes about 2 minutes and requires no tools. The adjustable flow dual head version of this pump costs $469.

Parts needed to upgrade it to dual head are:
Pump shaft:
Stenner P/N: DM5A00D

#5 Adapter head
Stenner P/N: UC1ATC5
