Ok so I remember reading a thread on here the other day about how there is a lot more FS posts then build threads. Well here is a build thread!
current tank:
72 gallon bow front
CPR aquafuge PS 2
2x d120 full spectrum LED's
New tank:
120 gallon (60x18x26)
eshopps r-300 sump
2x wp25's
apex lite
240 lbs of tropic eden reef flakes
2x d120 full spectrum LED's (reusing)
quiet one 2200 return pump
reef octopus nwb 150
I think I covered the equipment pretty well.
Green means I have it
yellow means I ordered it and just waiting
red means still need to get
I picked up a used tank/stand/canopy and was fully aware of the crazing on the acrylic. It didn't look that bad to me when it was dirty. Then after cleaning it and filling it with water I decided to pass on the tank. I kept the stand/canopy so now I'm looking for another tank.
Here are some pictures
stand (need to be refinished), sump and 8 gallon tank I will be using for an ATO in the future.
apex lite and the sand
I went with this sand because everyone raves about it and I think the size will be perfect for my jawfish. Doesn't he look happy to move!?
