Looks great! I don't know what it looked like before, but I love the scape - and I love those sun corals!

The pic I posted looks so dark, it's almost an injustice. The "before" (pic posted in this entry) was a much denser stack. The primary reason for the restack was to improve flow through, and create more areas to place more corals. I believe both objective were achieved.

I also love the sun corals. I would like to add a variety to the tank. The ones I currently have seem to be doing well. I have babies popping up in no fewer than 10 places throughout the tank. Even in the overflow and sump!

The new stack looks great Steve. Your coral all seems happy & healthy and I've really got to say... I love seeing happy fat tangs in tank pics. Too many times peoples' tangs are way too skinny.

I feel as though I need to feed the fish more than normal in order to keep the agression low. They seem to go after each other, especially the hippo, if I don't feed as much. As a result, they are quite large. Unfortunatley I sacrifice water quality. Yes, I do love the suns! Anyone out there with a distressed sun, I'd love to bring it back to glory.

That is one of 5 Koralia 4s immediatly behind the fish.

your tank turned out pretty well. The picture loses the depth and dimention of some of the rock structures. I haven't seen it since the night we did this so thanks for sharing the picture Steve.

missed it. Does it compare to my game room? For those that appreciate a dozen or so bow trophy whitetails. Not to mention the 25 or so others.....

There was a time in my life that I lived to hunt. I decided to have a family, and hunting was put on the back burner...

The CBB went in coincedental to the restack about 3 weeks ago. The intent was to draw attention away from the newcomer. It really didn't work well though. He lost every bit of fin within 4 days. One of the tangs slashed him open from the gills to the tail. a week later he was healed and knew who to avoid. three weeks later, he's a part of the community. I watch him take out about 1 aptasia per night. so far, he's avoided the suns completely. Are they known to enjoy tubastrea?

That's a relief. I feed so heavy I've not seen anyone trying to steal food.
