These are relatively tough to keep. Interested as well for the longevity. They will also get CRAZY nice when they start to mate. Maybe add a small female to see more of the insane colors from the male
Well, mine was all well until I believe my Yellow Watchman killed him. My YWG has been in there the longest so he is territorial now and will warn, then attack, any "threat". At one point he bit the Stigmatas eyeball and it looked pretty bad. It healed however about 2 weeks later he just went completely missing, and so my only conclusion is that the YWG killed him.
Beautiful fish though, although it is definitely true that once they are comfortable, their colors fade a lot. They are still there but must not bright red all the time.
