So I am down looking at the tank with the boys and I look along the back for the mantis and I notice a crab that is the size of a half dollar. All I could tell is that he is a light color with no fuzz and with dark brown pinchers. When I shinned a flash light on him he scattered under a rock that I could not move unless I moved all the rock. I have looked all over for a ID and no luck. I know someone will ask for a pic but that is not possible at this point..
I guess the point of the story is that I have had the tank up for almost 5months and this is the first time I have seen him. The LR from TBS is the best and full of life..
I am still having a Phosphate problem that will not go away. I have tried water changes and Phos Lock but my tank continues to go thru a Phosphate problem. Could the fact that my water temp flucuates up to as much as 83 be a issue?
