Stillwater area need

I need a Maxi-Jet 400 or 600? I have a 1200 I can swap for it. I will not be heading to the city or tulsa anytime soon and don't want to wait to order one.

It is for my new Nano at work and the 1200 is too much.

If you restrict the 1200, watch the temp closely. That is how i can tell when my mj1200 in my sump is getting clogged with calerpa, is when my temp goes up 1 degree from normal. I clean it, and the temp drops back to normal.

I have a marineland 300gph. I am still in dallas until october, but Lyn is coming to see me this weekend, I can send it down with her if you wanna.

What nano tank did you get? I just got the aquapod 24 with the 70watt HQI, gonna run it to a 45g refugium

I think the marineland has a tiny bit more flow than the 1200 does(295gph). Thank you very much though.

The nano is about 7 gallons and is a "tom" brand (cheap). It has a useless filter but does have a PC light at least. I think I am going to put a sump on it soon. I lust don't want a lot of equipment in the tank.

I will keep an eye on the temperature, cause if it gets hot, it won't take long to heat up 7 gallons!! I had a magnet break in half on a MJ 1200 and it raised the temp in my display by 4 degrees before I noticed(good excuse for a temp probe with alarm)!

Sunday I do have a hockey game, so I will gone for a bit.

I usually come up to STL fairly regulary, so we could hook up then. I could just bring all the pumps I have, and you could take a look through them.

Or we could work via Travis.

Any option works for me, these pumps are in my fish tub out in my shop.
