sting rays with other fish?

just considering putting a angelfish (like a blue face or some other nice size angel) with a couple stingrays and maybe a few banner fish (heniochus acuminatus) and possible a dragon wrasse or so.

just wondering if the angel might nip at the stingray. i think it is not likely but sometimes the stingrays hide under the sand and i thought if a little piece of the stingray was sticking out of the sand the angel might think it was a little morsel.
thanks

i dont have any experience with stingrays, but i've read many times that they dont stand a chance in a tank with angels/butterflys.

Don't do it. They can and will pick at the ray. Purple or yellow tang would probably be ok. And my Naso was fine but you need an 8' tank for a Naso. I had an annularous angel at 4" that would chase the ray around to get a nip, I put the angel into a different tank. Then I tried some tangs. Orange shoulder also nipped at the ray. I ended up getting rid of the ray so I could keep the fish I wanted. IMO it is best to choose either fish or a ray because having a ray will really limit what fish you can keep with him.

When choosing tankmates for rays and sharks, you have to avoid "grazing" fish. Angels, butterflies, triggers, etc. Planktivores are great (large anthias, groupers, snappers, lions). What species of stingray and what size tank? I have seen angels pick at and blind sharks.
