My Purple Monti Cap was stinged by other corals on the lower corner of the picture and it start loosing tissue.

Should I cut the damage part before the injured part extended or should I wait and see what happens?

I remember that this happens before with an red cap; it start loosing tissue on one side and then loose its tissue completely until die. Any advice please?

Monti Caps are generally fast growers, so IMO I'd cut the section off that was stung to be safe. I'd rather frag an inch or two of it and let it regrow vs taking a chance of losing the entire colony.
