stn after fragging, toss it?

I had a light blue acro frag that started to stn really slowly so I cut off the top of it 1/2'' above the receding line. then I cut some other branches off that were far enough from the line as well. I dipped them in revive and it's been a couple days. 2 of the 5 small pieces are now skeleton and the biggest piece is starting to recede. do I need to throw it all out so it doesn't affect anything else? or is there something I can do to save the small pieces left? I'd really like to keep this if I could.
