I have a Bali green slimer that had a white area near the base the size of a pea 2 days later it is about an inch. It seems like the tissue and polyps are being burned away. No other sps are having problems. Any ideas of what is happening?

I'd check the three basics....alkalinity shift, phosphate and then a midnight flashlight check for aefw. I don't even like typing aefw.

There is definently some problem you may want to frag a healthy part of the coral before the whole thing is dead.
