Stock list advice (120g Reef)

I am finally thinking of adding new fish to my system and wanted to get some advice on how/when to add these fish. I have had my 2 Ocellaris Clowns for almost a year. Tank is a 120 Gallon.

The fish that I am interested in are:
Tomini Tang
Kole Tang
Coral Beauty
Lemon Peel Angel
Green Mandarin

First I wanted to verify that these fish will be happy tank mates (I believe so based on what I've read), and second it sounds like tangs should be added together to avoid agression. Should I add the tangs first or last (I would like to add my mandarin last to give my pod population more time to increase).

I would definitely suggest you don't add the mandarin until your tank is a couple years old.
Tangs should probably be second to last, but you'll want a second opinion on that given the angels.

I'm hoping to not have to wait a couple more years on the mandarin... that single fish is what me get into the hobby after all lol. I have a nice size fuge, a swarming pod population and am planning my stock list so nothing competes for those pods... or so I think.

as far as the mandy, a couple of years is a long time in my opinion.

6 months i would say is the minimum time frame, since pod populations will tend to go through boom and bust cycles as the tank matures.

1 year would be much better though. this gets past all kinds of potential new tank issues.

a 120 gallon with a nice fuge should make a great home for a mandy.

if you haven't done so already, check out some of the supplemental feeding methods too, just in case. enjoy!

Lemon peels like to eat coral

Bristletooth tangs are a good choice and typically are better tempered so I think you should be fine

Ya, the more I read about the Lemon Peel the less interested I become...

And for that matter, coral beauty as well.

Thinking about a Kole, a Tomini and a mandarin and that will be it!

flame hawkfish will give you a nice red fish, as long as you don't have any small shrimp. I just added a Lamarck angel to my 120. completely reef safe.

Are three tangs in a 120 doable? I was thinking hippo, yellow eye kole and a tomini. The hippo will get large however the tomini and kole are "smaller" tangs.

My wish list:
2 clowns
kole
hippo
tomini
mandarin

Check out the Indian Goldring Bristletooth. Like a kole tang but different color scheme. Can be a bit hard to find but a very cool fish, even for a tang. i think live aquaria has them right now.

hippo (i assume Paracanthurus hepatus), no. they get very large.

i would be awry of the yellow tang (Zebrasoma Flavscens) they can be rather aggressive towards conspecifics. ours killed out kole tang.
