Hey all,
I'm planning a new system an am trying to think ahead to what I ultimately want to have in it fish-wise.
It is a RedSea Reefer 250 (35.5 L X 20 W X 21 D). Total system water capacity is 65 gallons with 54 gallons in the display area.
It will be a coral tank as well (SPS/LPS)
I based my list on this stocking guide:
http://www.aquariumprofessionals.com/article_stocking.htm#.VfT0mLO37tQ
and looked for peaceful, reef safe, colorful fish appropriate to my tank size.
Here is what I came up with:
Blue/Green Chromis X 3
Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse X 1
Firefish X 1
Green Mandarin X 1
Orchid Dottyback X 1
Royal Gramma Basslet X 1
Does this seem reasonable, overstocked or understocked?
Of course I would add these slowly over time to reach the final list once my tank is established.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
