Stocking 40 g

I'm working on setting up my new 40 g and need some fish suggestions! My current plan is 2 picasso clows, 4 blue/green chromis and a mandarin down the road. I'm plannin on keeping a lot of sps, a few lps, clam and a red bubble tip. Prolly 30-50 lbs of LR. How many fish do ya'll think it can handle without putting too much of a bioload? My sump is 40g, 20g of it is fuge, Euro Reef Rs80 protein skimmer. Plan on 30% water changes every 3 weeks.

I think a good bio-filter can adapt to about anything that's close to normal---if you add slowly. If you get an adult pair of clowns, I'd introduce them last. Paired clowns are extremely territorial. Mandarins very seldom do well in small tanks because the tank can't keep up with the fish's pod requirement. I'd give 2nd thoughts to the Chromis. There isn't a day in the disease forum that doesn't feature problems with them, here's a sample: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2207475
This really sounds like a negative post n my part, sorry.

Although the chromis will get along at first, they will not long term so you'd do better just to get one (rather than watching the strongest kill off the rest).

Something like a royal gramma or one of the various types of gobies would be good to exchange for the extra chromis.

I was looking for something that would school. Looking to keep a peaceful tank! Any thoughts on some small fish that tend to school in groups?
