I'm setting up a 29 gallon bow front fowlr tank and was wandering what I could put in it. I really like dwarf and Pygmy angels.
I kept a lemon peel angel in my 29 gallon with a couple of firefish. I mostly agree with MrTuskfish, on the other hand I don't know that a pair of clowns and a small angel couldn't be fine together, especially the Ocellaris Clownfish, i'd say No way to a maroon clown, but a pair of percula or ocellaris will probably be okay.
If i were doing a FOWLR angel fish and trigger fish would be topping my list, but a 29 gal isn't big enough... I miss my Niger Trigger.
How about this wrasse with an angel.http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1378+1158&pcatid=1158
How many threads are you going to start asking the same questions?
You have been given a lot of good advice about which fish to stay away from in the tanks you have.
All I want to know is if I can have a puffer with an angel and a watchman goby.
Ok well I think I'm going to get the angel and when it dies get the puffer and vis versa.yeah that would be 2 semi-aggressive fish in a small tank, not a good idea. stick with either the puffer or the angel. All things are possible, if you want to try both the worst that happens is one picks on the other and they beat each other up, they are stressed and die early/easily. You might have the option of removing one if they aren't getting a long. Also keep in mind you are looking at fish that need an established tank, so get it going with some that clown you were talking about first.
Generally the good sense thing is to say no and make do with less fish.
keep in mind those minimum tank guidelines on liveaquaria aren't set in stone. I've kept a Ocellaris Clownfish in a 5 gallon tank and it seemed happy even though live aquaria says 20 gal minimum, lived a long time (I actually had to sell him when I moved) it hosted a brain coral I had in there. that was actually my favorite tank.
