Stocking a 30"x 30" x 36"

I was at the LFS and was asking about a show fish for my sps/clam cube (yes 36" tall).
They recommended I try several wrasses in there.
Is my tank to small for wrasses? If not how many can I add?
Any recommendations for what types?

If you want wrasses, your tank must be covered with something that has a maximum of 1/4 inch holes; this precludes eggcrate.

Yes I am planning on using a mesh net. I've lost a few jumpers on past tank
