stocking advice on a 90 gallon tank.

well I have been helping a friend at there church for a while with there fish tank. it has had its up and down due to various reason. I went to do a follow up today on the day and when I walk in everyone is screaming in the office due to the new fish addition.
existing already is two maroon clown one perc. and a purple tang. Well a 3.5 foot green California moray eel has been added as well as a 10+speckled grouper. he told me that the LFS said it was ok and size alright for the tank. I completely disagree with this. especially since all previous fish are now no where to be found. (probably had a heart attack and died once ell was dropped in. I am also blown away at the 400+ price that was paid for these fish.

so my question is?
do you think these fish are compatible with a standard 90 tank?
what kind of responsibility should the lfs have within the industry?
do you think these prices are within reason?

I am not going to disclose what store this is. I am just looking for opinions on this. I am just stuck in the middle:uzi:

Ave Maria Purisima....

I say pack those fish up, return them and have you and your buddies confront these LFS people. It is not right that they took advantage the way they did...

post the store's name so we can BASH'em. PLEASE.
the store tricked a church, now that's just wrong.

It's not right, but I heard this many times before...one should do research before buying even if the LFS employees said it was ok. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

sorry guys I do not want to name the store. There are many fish stores in my area. I can say good things about each one of them. but I don't want to bash on the store practices, although very tempting. I just don't understand why someone would do this. lets just say the guy wanted to change his theme from passive to aggressive. I would just simply say that eel is to big for your tank. you may want to try this snowflake eel. or if he does not have one offer to pick up and have customer come back. instead it is the used car syndrome cleaning out inventory.
I think if all lfs had more integrity regarding advice and such there would be more people in the hobbies. less frustrations by consumers fireguards to pet stores in general. I also when this is done they usually end up losing that customer when they leave the hobbies for something like this.
