Hey guys. I am getting ready to set up my first reef tank and I think i'm pretty set on this stock list. My tank will be 120 gallons (not sure exact dimensions) and will have plenty of corals and inverts. Heres the fish I intend to keep:
(1) Purple Tang
(1) Whitecheek Tang
(1) Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish
(1) Schooling Bannerfish
(2) Ocellaris Clownfish [1 normal, 1 black and white]
(1) Flame Anglefish
(5) Bartlett's Anthias [1 male, 4 female]
(1) Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse
(1) Scott's Fairy Wrasse [Australia]
(1) Purple Dottyback
That is a total of 15 fish. Do you think this is a good amount for my size tank and that all the fish will get along together? According to Live Aquaria, all these fish require a minimum tank size of 125 gallons or less and all are reef safe; other than the flame angle and butterflyfish which are listed "with caution". Also what corals will the Flame Anglefish and Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish pick at? Because I heard they can sometimes pick at the corals. The corals I want are some mushrooms, soft corals, and maybe a couple SPS and LPS hard corals, and I don't want the fish picking at them. And lastly, does anyone know of what inverts would do a good job of helping keep the tank clean and how many of each? Thanks.
