Stocking List for 60 Gallon

Hi All,

I Just setup a new 60 gallon tank.

Will be a FOWLR and I currently have the following which will be moving over once the tanks is cycled...

2 Yellow Coris Wrasses
1 Coral Beauty
1 Small Ocallaris Clown
1 Small Pajama Cardinal
1 Med Bird wrasse


I may place the small clown and pajama into a smaller tank....

I will be obtaining one more fish.....

Harlequin Tusk....



This this is okay for a 60 gallon tank???

Re: Filtration I have a rena filter, Med Aquafuge, and am looking at getting a remora C Skimmer....

Should that be enough for the above bio load?

IMO - I don't think I would add the Bird Wrasse, they can be hit and miss. I got my Bird wrasse from another reefer because it started killing their gobies and small fish. My tank has larger species so I do not have this problem. Plus they get large.

Yeah that bird wrasse may be going. He is a PIG!! but he is cool to watch.....

I really like my 2 yellow coris wrasses... gentle as can be and actually will clean my coral beauty...

Good point on the bird wrasse...

the tusk will get way too large for a 60. get another clown and have a pair. they make an awesome center for smaller tanks

um,
the two coris wrasses will fight once they reach sexual maturity, so go with just one.
pair of clowns would be cooler.
absolutely without a doubt skip the bird wrasse and the harli, they have no business in a tank that small.
do more than one cardinal, they really dont get cool til you have like 7.
you could do a fairy or a flasher with the coris and have no probs if you are dead set on a second wrasse.

it sounds like you really like fish only wrasses. my best piece of advice, you are never going to be happy ( and neither will those fish) until you have at least a 6 foot tank.
would you want to live in a bathroom stall, because that is what a 60 is in a nutshell
