Stocking my 120 fowlr - interested in pairs

I have a standard 120 fowlr. I currently have :

Pair of snow onyz clowns
Melanarus wrasse
Fire fish - red
Hi fin goby and pistol shrimp (have not seen the shrimp since day 1 and goby for well over a week)

Fish I am interested in:

Dwarf angelfish
Smaller tangs
Midas blenny
Flasher wrasses
Cardinal fish
Yellow wrasse
Royal gramma
Some type of sand sifter

I am open to others as well.

Any suggestions for pairs? Other suggestions?

Don't really have much experience with trying to pair, but based off your list, IMO, the wrasses may be simple to do, as most vendors sell males and females. With the other fish, you really don't know what is what, unless you can find a pair that's already a bonded pair.

If you want pairs of dwarf angels and royal grammas, they are hermaphroditic. If you start with two small individuals they should figure it out and form a pair. It helps to purchase one individual larger than the other to minimize aggression. Sand sifting gobies should be hermaphroditic as well.

I pretty much have all my fish, shrimp and crabs in pairs or am working on getting them a partner:

Fish:
Clownfish - easy
Dragonets - easy
Pipefish - easy to advanced, depending on the species
Marine Betta - easy with juveniles, advanced with adults
Gobies - easy
Dottybacks - easy
Damselfishes - fairly easy
Large Angelfish - easy to advanced with most, near impossible with some
Dwarf Angeles - easy with juveniles, advanced with adults
Banggai cardinals - easy to advanced (if you want to make pairs by sexing them)
Blennies - easy to difficult, depending on the sexual dimorphism of the species and the availability of females
Grammas - easy to advanced
Jawfish - advanced

Shrimp and crabs:
Lysmata species - easy
Stenopus species - advanced
Alpheus species - easy to advanced
Sexy Shrimp - easy
White Spot Anemone Shrimp - easy with adults
Anemone Crabs - advanced to difficult (not just to get a pair, but also to keep it)
Porcelain crabs - difficult
True crabs - at least the sexing is easy

Great information! What is the best way to obtain pairs? Get them as juveniles?

I also like keeping pairs of fish. I have a pair of Potter's angels now and am looking for a mate for my Orchid dottyback.

A new pair I'd like to get established is a pair of hawkfish- either longnose or flame hawks.

Lots of options with wrasses.
