Finally have the cycle complete in my 75 gallon tank. Plan on getting a couple clowns tomorrow. How many fish could i introduce into the newly cycled tank tomorrow? i plan on having a couple clowns, some chromis, yellow tang and powder blue if possible. Also would it be a smart idea to wait a bit to introduce a bubble tip anenome?

start with one or 2 small fish. Wait a few weeks before adding anything else. Don't add too much a one time. As for the anemone I would wait 6 months to a year to make sure the tank is very stable.

Think what you read (( or should have been stated this way )) is that it is sometime helpful for the anemone to settle in before the clowns are there -- that does NOT before all fish.
Putting an anemone in a freshly cycled tank is setting yourself up for failure. Your tank is going to go through a lot of changes over the next 6 months -- along with you, if this is your first tank -- best to wait until both your tank and you are settled in before putting in an anemone.
Lastly, a yellow tang will be borderline for that tank, but the powder blue would be a mistake -- IMO.

+1 on the poweder tang, I have a 125 and have been told by many that it is to small for a powder. They need a lot of swimming room, that being said, I have a friend with a 72 bow front with a decent size yellow and powder blue tang that are doing just fine and he has had them for a long time. So go figure:hmm3:

Go slowly. Two clowns would be fine, but wait and watch. See how they'll affect the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels. Give it a few weeks and add another fish or two. Eventually you'll get the hang of it but don't blindly listen to your LFS. Most are more then happy to sell you anything you want no matter how prepared you really are.
what is minimum size tank requirements for powder blue? i just love them, was hoping to be able to add one to my tank eventually.
yes im going to take my time and take everything slow. Im not the type of guy that cant wait it out, so everything works out in the end. Im going to wait on the anenome until my tank has matured, and same with my knowledge with reef tanks.

Yeah, you hear of those people every once-in-a-while. While the fish may be alive and fat, it would probably prefer a bit larger tank for some more swimming room. I had a sailfin and tomini in a 58 gallon tank for almost 2 years, and if I would have had the tank setup much longer than I did (moved states) I would have sold the fish or upgraded tanks. They were going stir-crazy
For most tangs, you will want to have a bit bigger tank. 4" minimum swimming room for length, with 5 being even better. Gallons aren't as important as swimming room.
I agree with what Todd said about the fish/nem additions. He's a smart dude!
