Stocking plans...

I am having a hard time deciding on some fish (currently I have zero fish).
Here is what I am planning so far:
The 1st introduction is one of these three (I can't decide) - Foxface Lo, Lemonpeel Angelfish, or a Yellow Tang.
2nd will be a pair of Polymnus (saddleback) Clownfish.
3rd is a Tailspot Blenny.

That is all that I am want, 4 fish. Any other suggestions? I am only keeping SPS corals and already have a healthy BTA in place.

I would re-think your first choice. A foxface will get too large for your tank, a Lemonpeel isn't reef safe, and your tank is much too small for a tang. The others sound fine.

No tangs and angels, I thought I could try them out, but better leave them to someone else. I will get the foxface since there is really nothing else that is a good herbivore, unless you can suggest something else?
I want a open water swimmer since my Clowns will stick to there host anemone and the blenny will be a rock dweller. Want something that can swim around and be attractive with ease of care. Thanks.

A Foxface is too big for a 46.

Don't rely on a fish to control algae, it doesn't work. I have a kole tang and a Foxface in my 240 and they did jack squat for algae control.

If you absolutely need a herbivore why not consider switching the tail spot for a lawnmower blenny.

I'd say that you could do the foxface. IN my experience most fish don't grow to their full length in our tanks. I mean like alot of people say that, for example, a hippo tang will grow to 12", yet the largest one ive seen is only about 8-10"

If you want an open water swimmer, you can take a 50/50 chance with a flame angel, or rusty angel. They may nip at corals, or they may not, each individual is different.

Reef Chromis are really good, just don't believe what you hear about them beeing good schools. They will eventually kill each other off.

Chalk bass are pretty cute and they are reef safe.

Royal Gramma Basslets are flashy, but can tend to be aggresive for thier size.

Six Line wrasses are great for beeingout in the open.

Our canarry blenny spends most of the day swimming around. He doesn't tend to sit on the rocks.

These are just a few suggestions, there are a lot more out there.

I appreciate the suggestions. Last night, I got a 2.5" Foxface. Placed him in the quaratine tank. I really didn't want to deal with a tang or angelfish, and I do not see any other large fish that meets my criteria. My next purchase will be the clowns when the foxface gets out of quaratine in a month or so. Thanks...
