Recently I've been battling some red cotton candy algae that loves to grow on SPS as well as anywhere else it can take hold. When I pluck out the clump of algae I notice there are many stomatella lying beneath the algae. Does anyone have any idea if these animals are eating the stuff? I thought they also might be possibly be using it as shelter during the day. I hope they could be a potential nemesis for this persistant nuisance.
