Stonogobiops nematodes breeding once a week

Hello,
I was able to put out another 50 or so larvaes this evening.
I will try a small tank with 3 gallons only and a lot of pods and Brachionus s-type, I hope there are enough young and small rotifiers in there to feed the larvaes. New food which I will put in the tank will be enriched three hours before feeding with Selco.

Wish me luck !!

Bye Erik

Thank you,

but it didn`t work. Not one survivor after only 24 hours. I believe that the ( now grown ) pods have eaten the larvae. This whole stuff is so tiny, that you can´t see this very good even with a magnifying glass.

Bye!

Schieby, good luck! Persistence "must" pay off, right? (sure says the man with 14 failed mandarin spawns)...

Any way to post some pics of the larvae?

Matt

Hello Matt,

thank you, please check back to the ninth posting on page one. Here you should find a pic and a small video made under a microscope.

Regards Erik
