Stopped by Tropical Aquarium today...

Nice one Erik! OK I pulled .. what happens

Ben, glad to see another person with an unbiased opinion.

Yeah..I always read things as negative. You know that

It's getting better but still not geared toward reefers.
We are on REEF central

although it seems like every time I go in there things have gone up a bit
Helpful?

There isn't anything in the way of skimmers or calcium reactors etc...
I've only been in the store twice. I'm pretty sure he does sell the CSS

They get shipments of fish on Tuesdays and they do not order huge amounts of them so by around Saturday and Sunday things are getting pretty bare.
Don't bother going on the weekend?

So if I'm shopping for nothing but cheap fish fresh from the wholesaler (is that a good thing?) between Tuesday and Friday this is the place to go? I dunno what I was thinking when I didn't see the positive side :)

Pull my finger

had to say something
Erik

can we try to keep this thread on topic (picking Kevins every word apart) please :D

BTW did you see my tank pic?

Ben
Don't take Kevin or I as too serious. We say much worse things to each other in person often for no apprent reason. We are both jerks....Kevin is just a LOT older than me therefore more experienced.

I have some pics of his tank but the glare from all the bleached SPS has washed them out so much you can't see anything else.

LOL

awhh that went straight to the bone

He had to resort to the truth... :)

They do work well to set the white balance though.

Heh..Wal mart still has a market that hasnt dried up....sadly

What do you have against Wal-Mart? Doesn't your family shop there? I thought I saw a package of Nori from Wal-Mart at your place.

I always found it strange that a guy can sell things with very little profit and grow his business to a huge level and people are mad about it. If you can make a profit and sell things to the public cheaper than previously available isn't that actually helping everyone? Don't forget Sam's Club is the same company too.

Now who is the one off topic mister?

:lmao:

As long as they roll back prices I don't care who is losing jobs. Same as saying as long as the fish are cheap I don't care if the store is improving, animal conditions are getting better, or the owner makes a living.

Technically speaking no one in my family shops at wal mart, because my brother in law lost his job at Carolina Mills due to wal marts imported sweat shop textiles. That company was started in the US over 75 years ago. Over half its production was going to wal mart. Wal mart demanded to see the books, and didn't like the profit margin they were getting so they shut them out. Wal marts done it to a long list of companies. I'm sure it helps the economy overall to take long standing US companies, and run them out of business or force them to seek labor overseas.

P.S.- the sweat shop nori was from you., and you know it :)

Or we could all just spend more of our money for the things we need. Feel free to shop where you feel justified. We all know you are off topic and have no excuse for being there. Now get back to work so you can afford your $4 gallons of milk at Beuhler's.

LOL

lol...u didnt even click the link did you?

Just went straight for the grammar jab :rolleye1:

I've gotta go unthaw my dinner for tomorrow night.
