storage barrels for RO/DI water?

Anyone have any suggestions/prices for storage barrels, or containers for RO/DI water. I bought a RO/DI unit from the reef guys in Mn. I have had 3 occasions that I have forgotten about my water running and it has overflowed. I want to get an automatic shut off valve in place and have the water go into a container that is closed. Right now I have been using a 55 gallon to store the water but sometimes I don't use it right away and our yellow lab gets hair all over the place....and dryer lint gets in as the Ro/Di is in our laundry room. What can I do to fix these problems?

Some people feel that cause phosphate issues, but I use Rubbermaid 32 gallon Brute trashcans for my RODI and my saltwater mixing.

I bought a forty gallon brine tank with tight lid. It also came with a float and a auto shutoff for my R/OD/I filter. I bought it from AquaFX. $90.00 + shipping.

I like the trash can on wheels idea. How does the shut off valve work and where is a good place to get one? like I said I got my stuff from the filter guys....oops I think I said reef guys before...but it was the filter guys.

I use a couple garbage cans with wheels. You can just use a kent float switch if you don't mind drilling through your $10 walmart garbage can... :D

That is such a disturbing picture Atticus. I knew a kid that could do that when I was in the Marines. where do you get the kent float switch?

There is this place i am getting ready to order one from. Not sure if i can post links, but PM me and i'll shoot you the link.

I went to a restaurant supply store in CR and got a food grade 33gal can for $25 they also have a 55 gal for $40 I don't know if they have any on wheels it is called Star Equipment
