Ok,
Since Dan finally mad it offical on the tank, I guess it's my turn to make it offical on the store.
I have decided to sell the retail side of Coastal Aquatics. I plan to continue my service company, but have chosen to part with the store. The hour commute from our new house in Harrison is a bit more than I would like and a few excellent teaching opportunities have arisen, so it's time.
Serious inquiries can pm me with contact info or contact me at the store 869-9005. Until then, it is business as usual.

When I can figure out how to post pics I will put some up of the new house.

Thanks John,
I don't think that things will happen too fast on this, we'll see. In the mean time I plan on stepping things up a little in there, adding another wall of tanks (fresh?), getting the liverock tanks going, and maybe adding a clam tank. Thanks for the compliment though.

I think you should stay all salt. You can get freshwater fish anywhere. It is nice to see speciality stores.

You do have a great store Anna, I'll have to get back down there before you sell it!

I would love to see a good freshwater fish store, one that features planted tanks, which none of the existing stores seem to know or care about. But your space is probably too small to do justice to both salt and fresh. I think the store is in a great location and has a lot of potential, sorry to hear you are giving it up. I don't come often because it is a long way from home, but I enjoy it when I make it there.

thanks wynne
It ws a tough decision to come to and i try not to look at it as giving up the store, i hope to maintain a relationship with whomever may take it over.it has just become too much between my service company and the retail store and a 2 hour daily drive.
the store is one of the smaller stores around, but i feel the same about the lack of planted tank freshwater species available. The number of people that have been in the store requesting freshwater conitnues to grow, so I feel that I know the species that are being sought out in the area. If I were to add freshwater, it would be very specific to fill that niche.

I have replied to all pms
