store going out of business

I think its a petland, at mcquire and 50 in orlando is going out of business. Not a lot left, but there were some bulbs and other supplies. Most all of it was half off or more. I picked up a straight pin 65w pc daylight bulb for $14 from AGA. Of course I found when I got home all my 65w needs were square pin....

but hey, it was a good deal right?

its either a petland or a petco. I think its more an issue of the strip mall its in got sold, but it is a real going out of business sale where EVERYTHING is being sold.

as far as I could tell they were selling everything...but only a few of the display tanks were left.

Yeah they didn't have a whole lot. Had a decent deal on the big aquaclear 500s. Also I got one of the last two battery pumps... can never have enough of those when the power goes out.

went by there again today and there is not much left. I did get a nice (cheap) stand for my 10 gal plant tank. I also had a heartbreak when I found out that they sold their last 2 40 gal breeders for $10. I think that would have been the perfect size for me......

I was by there tonight - nothing left. But I did pick up one of the Aquaclear 500's for $33.00.
Who knows I might set up a freshwater tank .......

They make for nice hob refugiums for nanos, if I was pondering setting up a nano i def wouldve picked one up. No more tanks for me though...

I picked up a stand this morning and asked about the 40gal breeders. they had been paid for, but no one had come to get them. Was told to drop in around 5 because as of 6 they were locking the doors. Not much left, but when I went back at 5 they gave me one that is drilled in the back for 2 overflows.....but realized that its pretty scratched up. I also was allowed to take ANYthing that was left. I filled myself up a rubbermaid tub full of carbon/sponges for aquaclears, some food, some nets and a bunch of other garbage. FREE!!!!
