Has anyone else heard a rumor about a saltwater place opening in Jackson soon?

Maybe the Reef Down Under is being resuscitated?? I hear a few rumors, but it is hard to tell which ones are real. I heard not long ago that a large reef tank was taken over by poison dart frogs. :eek2: Oh, and there is the end of the world thing coming up soon.

I think Jackson is large enough to support a Reef store if that rumor turns out to be true. It would give me another place to go during lunch. :thumbsup:

The travel went ok, but I met some odd people that I don't care to associate with. The nerve of some people at a funeral. I'll post a little info in the other thread about it.

Looking forward to the meeting on June 23rd. I will be new to the area I have accepted a job in Humbolt and may need some directions to the meeting though. What is the LFS situation in the area, I will be setting up my tanks again(when i find a house)soon i hope.

WELCOME! both to the club and Reef Central!

I too live in Humboldt but am presently working in both Jackson and Humboldt.
The meeting is being held in a fairly easy location to get to but easiest if you google map it:
566c Carriage House Drive, Jackson

The LFS in the area currently open is in Lexington and it is run by Bruce and Heidi. Both very nice and helpful people. The name of that store is Fishy Business.

You are also kind of in luck as we have a new store opening in Jackson VERY VERY soon.
