Strange Clown Behavior

Watching my tank tonight during feeding. I noticed my female clown was catching big pieces of Mysis in her mouth and taking them back and Feeding it to my Duncan's were they host. She did this several times. She put the food in the duncan and then held it there with her body till the duncan closed up around the food. Then proceeded to go get more food and do the same. Never seen her do that before. Too cool...

On a side note I notice I have about 5 or 6 polps of Zoas growing out the side of my powerhead. Either that or some got sucked into the powerhead.. :hmm5:

Your clown is just confused. She thinks the duncan is a nem.

Totally normal behavior. Never heard of one doing that w/ a duncan though lol

Well nice to know she isn't going crazy! I just have to get me a Nem. I almost purchased that yellow carpet at ABC Reefs Saturday. I really wanted it but with my Nitrates being high right now I didn't think that was a good move, right Mel

Ha ya my clowns did that with a frogspawn they were hosting until i got them their own nem.
